It is so important for all children on your SEND register (and other groups such as EAL and children with healthcare plans), to have ownership of a one page profile document that they can understand and refer back to over the year. I put this together for my school last year to further personalise what we already had.
This year (2023), I have also added a load of secondary centred OPPs into the collection!
Hopefully with this resource, children will enjoy the Individual Education Plan process. Especially, for children who sometimes have difficulty understanding their targets if the documentation isn’t child friendly. Our children loved to pick out their favourite design!
You can add bits in and take them out and there is also a plain version. If there is not a background that you child likes, simply right click on the image at the back, select ‘change picture’ and substitute it for a different background.
