School Health Research Network: How does time-off in school holidays impact children and young people’s mental health? (Webinar)

The impact of the long break this year has made a significant difference to the SEMH of children across the world. This webinar was recorded in February 2020, before the schools shut therefore is not lock-down specific. It does however, highlight the many issues surrounding long holidays for some pupils, which need to be considered this year more than ever. This webinar was aimed at secondary schools in Wales but other settings and areas can also benefit from the research.

The School Health Research Network is a network of secondary schools in Wales who have joined together with researchers, the Welsh Government and other organisations to support young people’s health.

The aim of the School Health Research Network is to improve health and wellbeing. The network helps schools in Wales work with researchers to generate and use good quality evidence about health improvement.
