Scanning Pens Learning Support Forum: Empowering Student Success

Throughout Educational settings, Scanning Pens have proven invaluable for supporting learners with Literacy differences.

These portable devices use text-to-speech technology to support in students reading. They not only improve comprehension and accuracy of reading, but also encourage growth in independence, confidence and self-belief.

Using alongside early interventions within Primary Schools, Scanning Pens are proven to enhance reading comprehension by 10 months in just 8 weeks of use! With the Exam Lock turned on, our C-Pen Reader2 device can be used to support your student’s SATs and can eliminate the need for human readers.

Moving up to Secondary Schools, students can confidently read paper-based resources, including textbooks and novels, without relying on human readers. Making use of the C-Pen Reader2 during this time is shown to improve comprehension by 16 months in just 6 weeks! The C-Pen Exam Reader 2 is JCQ-approved to be used in all GCSE Exams, including MFL and English Reading exams.

As your students continue their learning journey into Further and Higher Education, they can continue to use Scanning Pens for research, note-taking, and studying. The technology enhances their academic experience continuously through their A-Levels, additional Exams and Functional Skills.

You don’t need to take our word for this, we offer FREE 30 DAY TRIALS of our devices where you can test this for yourselves. Alongside this, we have a variety of support that is readily available, including our Learning Support Forum, taking place on Tuesday 2nd July at 15:30BST.
